On demonstrations in Gaza, Mohammed's heritage in the West and birth of Jesus as comfort
A German expert on the conflict in Gaza and Israel complained in an interview on German WELT TV that there had not been enough reaction and acknowledgement of the demonstrations by Gazins at the end of March, especially not from those politicians who had been supporters of Palestinians. He said he had spoken to some and they hadn't even answered, in spite of a young man of 23 being tortured, murdered and his mutilated body thrown in front of his family's house as a warning against organizing and taking part in those demonstrations. We only got to see very short videos in the news on Swiss and German television and there were important other German issues such as coalition negotiations for a new government. So maybe the ones the expert mentioned, were occupied with other things as I was myself. My feelings, when I saw the videos were in fact that these people who had undergone so much suffering, were very brave and authentic. Probably they had never done a demonstration before and then in such a dire situation. I saw more anger than fear in their expressions in the first video. All such demonstrations are against the rulers of a people. But, anything your smartphone or tv sends nowadays can be fake and manipulative. Beginning a war in times of mainstream wealth in western societies is easy, ending two of them is most difficult. Not to speak of the usual other conflicts in parts of the world that don´t make it into western news, or ordinary crime and domestic violence.
There were only men and many boys marching in the streets. An older man in traditional clothing spoke in a harsh tone of voice into the microphone of the broadcaster. It was translated as him saying, he wanted the war to end. When I decided to write something here, I did some research and found articles that put an emphasis on these demonstrations having been against the war and Israel's bombing and not against Hamas. Israeli commentators said, they were not sure that it was sincere, referencing the pictures of how Gazins in the beginning behaved when the first hostages were brought in. As a journalist for the local newspaper I once had to write about a thesis for middle school that a young woman with Croatian heritage presented. She had been too young to witness the war in former Yugoslavia in the 1990s and had grown up in Switzerland. Her thesis was about a visit to Croatia and interviews she did with her relatives who had lived through that civil war. The central aspect that she brought to light, was that trust had been destroyed between people in general. Even if it had been Serbs who had done terrible things to Croatians, the people who had lived through the war said, they felt that they would never be able to trust any other person again and that that was a miserable feeling that impaired their life.
Demonstrating for peace and trust
In the second video we saw the next day, the people marching were much more relaxed. It was striking that there were men sitting on the shoulders of others. Then there was a very short film, showing people in yellow vests as in the protests in France walking side by side to each other. The same type of demonstration, us westerners are used to, such as when people demonstrate against the rise of the price of gas. There, I glimpsed a little girl sitting on her father's shoulders smiling. Today's news was all about bombs and destruction again and we saw the usual pictures of seemingly endlessly enduring and patient people walking to evacuation, donkey carts with piles of belongings thrown together, some cars with mattrasses piled on top. What I remember most about Gazins, is people dancing when it was announced some time ago that President Trump had interfered in negotiations and there would be a cease fire. Also, I remember one prisoner exchange when those coming from Israel's prisons leaned out of the windows of a bus just arriving and taking pictures of their smiling and laughing friends and relatives that stood around the bus to greet them. That didn't seem to fit in with the Hamas type of persons, because terrorists indeed those are. I
I chose the illustration because since no women were seen, I believe it was the men who were making clear that they wanted women and children to be safe and that was what they were demonstrating for, but also, because being a mother myself, the women were probably not that keen to demonstrate, because they had lost loved ones and children and it had been by bombs dropped by Israel. That is something from the heart and cannot be changed at this time. Also, having grown up in a family of free-thinkers in a Christian society, I don't know that much about Islam. I have been doing some research on it, because of my family heritage from western Islam and history of economic thought and culture. But Jesus is the second last Prophet and for that reason, I believe his message of love should give some comfort in such terrible times. Most impressive were the many boys who were just striding along, es if this was something normal, because I heard the famous Son of Hamas talking about what Hamas did to young boys. We have that problem also in western societies and it is a terrible one.
Heritage of western Islam from Moorish Spain in the Middle Ages
How the Arab-Muslim culture came to the West is complicated and from philosophical and theological books which are disciplines not familiar with me, as I have science and economic university education. Christian monks translated into Latin the Arabic culture which became the foundation of science, universities and the bonded economic system. The most important of these monks lived in Toledo, Spain and Paris in the 12th century. They included the culture of Arabic Islam into their own writings in a way that is not explicitly explained as from Islam. After the Christian Kings in 1492 took back all of the Moorish territories of Spain and forced Jews and Muslims to convert to Christianity, Muslims fled as well as Jews into western Europe.
The culture that was passed on to me by oral tradition was flawed: first, because of national socialism when the Semitic cultures were not allowed, wrecked and turned into a type of resistance culture. It was only those who had had the tradition passed on to them during normal times who understood. Both people of Jewish and of Muslim heritage were considered Jews by everyone else. Also, there are many different branches of Judaism as well as Islam and pagan indigenous traditions. The latter are much more included into belief in Islam than in Christianity, where they are more like rituals such as the Christmas tree or Easter eggs, the worship of saints.
Heritage from family companies and medieval city councilers
An example of the inclusion of indigenous religion in Islam is pilgrims walking around the Kaaba at the center of the holy site of Masjid al-Haran in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which was built in 683 Common Era (CE) after a fire, so the ritual is actually older. After beginning to study my western Islam heritage and how it is connected to the economics of family companies with the legal form of Kapitalgesellschaft, usually abbreviated with KG und Co., I find that Mohammed, the founder and designer of Islam, in my opinion as a scientist and free-thinker, was one of the most genial persons who ever walked this Earth. Religions evolve and this is from a scientific view. Faith is thought of to be coded in the wiring of the human brain.
My starting point, however, was culture and tradition. My forebearers of this culture that I call western Islam were from the Middle Ages into Renaissance city councilers of Munich, Bavaria and Thuringia who ran the trade markets and city treasuries and also entrepreneurs of production and thus part of an economic system that was bonded, working with the use and replenishment of resources and not mining resources and producing waste, as is the problem of our systems today. German socialdemocrats in the 19th century studied this system as a model for their political and economic views. This was also, because those engaged in the worker movements in the 19th and early 20th century were mostly workers from such companies.
Neurology of fear of Satan and the Kaaba in Mecca
The Black Stone in the Kaaba is a meteorite of blackish-metallic color. During pagan times there were numerous such beautiful stones sitting where they had fallen that were a subject of worship for numerous pagan sects who turned against each other in competition as to which group had the best such stone and rituals of worship, leading the whole religion of black stone worship into satanism.
Mohammed, I suppose had other experts, priests and significant others, most likely Jewish and Christian scholars and clergymen, with whome he discussed things when defining and starting a new religion. He picked one of these stones as the Kaaba for believers to pray while walking around, making the pilgrimage to Mecca more than a ritual for banning satanism. In neurology, satanism arises from a type of fear when the positive, loving belief in something higher than mankind in the brain circuit code is lost. This is the fear of the Antichrist coming instead of the Messiahs for Jewish believers, or the counterpart of god, Satan. This fear is different from the fears we normally experience which are derived from the fear of being abandoned. The fear and anxiety that results when God is gone from brain and heart is the worship of Satan, also called fear of change, resulting in uncontrollable hate and disrespect for others up to ritual murder. When this escaletes to the level of society, progroms happen. This fear is pre-rational. As with conspiracy theories, those affected are no longer acesssible to reason, critique. Mindful movement with many other believers in prayer around the Black Stone in the Kaaba in Mecca, is a way of banning satanism from the society of believers and to support security and trust.
During the General Strike of 1918 the workers of the Textile Company Heberlein in Wattwil went to work as on all work days. The entrepreneurial family circled the factory in an armored car. Both the walking around the Kaaba and the more profane driving around the factory by the leaders and owners are the expression of relying on one another and trust in God in order for fear and Satan not to take hold. The fear and anxiety when faith is lost, causes disorganized and irrational behavior and conflict, hindering the main stratigic advantage those family owned companies: common effort and team work, innovation. While the workers, engineers and craftsmen worked, the entreprenuers who were responsible for selling the products, organizing trade, finding new markets and developing technology didn´t work, but protected and watched over the workers and the factory, themselves being protected from the bullets of both racketeers and strikers, but also in a symbolic sense from harm.
Old time family owned companies
It was the talent, craftsmanship and personalities of engineers and workers, some from the entrepreneurial family, most employed that brought economic success and sustainability. Economic efficiency of production, innovation and a talented and trained work force were the competitive advantages of these companies. There still are companies with the legal form of Kapitalgesellschaft, but most of the old family owned companies operating by this system of using capital that was saved over generations as an economic ressource now have their capital aligned with foundations. Capital is defined as an asset because it has intrinsic value, the value of the real effort of productive economics, of workers and employees from which it was built. It is only people without knowledge of economics, right wing ideology and superstition who make up some sort of esotarian view of accepted economic theory as taught at commercial business schools and universities, implemented in business practice and established legal regulation of the corporate and banking sector in domestic and international law.
The whole topic of the economic system of such companies derived from the political and economic system and beliefs in Islam and Moorish Spain before 1492 will be subject of another post. Capital is usually transferred to a bank and booked as an asset on the active side of the balance. In this way capital, such as pensions funds are invested in productive economic interactions and growth of the economy. Interest is not paid to creditors, but in order to replenish and grow the resources. The antisemitic version of this is that taking interest was prohibited in Christian or Muslim religion.
Tradition of western Islam
Western Muslims ate pork and drank alcohol, also originally for hygienic reasons why Muslims practicing Islam don't. In medieval cities, pigs were used to eat from the faeces what humans hadn't digested properly, leaving nothing for the rats, mice and other pests to feed on, who could pass on disease such as rat fleas containing plague bacteria and other pathogens that could be harmful for humans.
When the hogs were finished, the slurry was shoved across the square, down the alley on the other side and over the town wall, with farmers below catching the dripping fertilzer in their waggons. |
Farmers could safely spread this human waste on their fields, pastures and gardens with fresh produce without infecting their grazing cattle, goats and sheep and themselves with pathogens. Pigs are not infected with Cholera and not a reservoir for the pathogen that caused great suffering and death in medieval society.
The City of Zürich on the other hand, had an Ehgraben, a type of tunnel that was underground and in 1867 they had one of the worst epidemics of cholera in Europe. A visitor wrote:
"If you visited Zurich in the Autumn of 1867, you got the impression of being in a death house. All song and pleasure had come to an end in this colourful city, with streets deserted and silent, public meeting places empty, and where before wonderful music had delighted the listener, the bustling business of the stock exchange invigorated the Tonhalle concert hall, you now saw rows of beds next to beds in the hospital and silent wailing."

Egasse in Biel/Bienne, largest industrial city of Switzerland that even had a car making industry. |
I have often heard say that the rules of Jews for not eating pigs were for reasons of hygiene. Maybe the custom of sewage eating pigs in medieval cities was the reason that this is often said, because I believe there must actually be other reasons deriving from the oriental origins of Judaism.
Trust in science and life
The certain people, as the Austrian psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor Viktor Frankl (1905-1997) called them, relied on scientific proof, experience and cooking skills for pork and trusted nature and their god, because their god is one for trust in life, feeling secure that things will work out if you try hard enough, even if sometimes you can't see the mountain top when you start out with a project. The Christians could decide for themselves, if they wanted to eat pork and maybe they would rather buy it from a farmer or smallholder on the slopes below the city wall, or keep a pig themselves for feeding on their vegetable scraps and have it slaughtered to have enough smoked or dried ham, saucages and canned meat for the winter.
Maybe this tradition of enjoying pork from the sewage disposal system contributed to me defining the German word for relatives Verwandte as being people that were completely different from anyone else I knew and had to do with, peculiar and interesting, with whome one only came into contact, because they were related, from the family. Only now do I realize that some of their characteristics were because of being survivors of Holocaust. In the bad times of Antisemitism and Holocaust some were so-called submarines who lived with other identity or in hiding, others escaped to the countryside where no one asked for identification of Arian heritage, but others were handed in by neighbors and relatives, or tortured and murdered in horrible ways. The trauma from the Holocaust, progroms and war can be passed on by epigenetics. That is not the body remembers, but an acclaimed scientific discipline, a subject to come in a future blog post.
Environment and society defines traditions and culture
Also, until the 1980s when rapeseed was bred without euruca acid and for the seeds of all rape plants in a field to ripen all at once in order to be able to harvest the seed, there was hardly any plant based oil and fat for cooking, apart from nuts and maybe poppy seeds, which were expensive. So for that reason they had huge pigs with a lot of fat on them. And they fried and baked with pork lard. In Bavarian cooking there are a lot of pork specialties. As for the alcohol, originally it was fermented drinks that were prohibited. It wasn't only the alcohol, but with failed craftsmanship and warm climate, the microbes present in the oriental environment, the ingredients their could have fermented and alcoholic drinks contaminated with poisonous substances, such as methanol and ethanol.
In Europe on the other hand, fermentation was a main method of conservation. Also, there were times, when the drinking water was contaminated and then it would be better to drink wine and beer. Such beverages with alcohol were sometimes even given to the children, which to us now might sound disgusting, but they had other more serious problems with health than a child being a little tipsy once and a while. Beer was a nutritious drink during fasting time. Also, at the time of the founding of Islam, oriental societies had a lot of problems with alcohol and unmoral behavior, there were warrior tribes who roamed around and ambushed settlements and robbed, raped and looted. Brigands and marrauders roamed around, so it was considered to be safer for society for alcohol to be banned, especially when introducing a new religion.
Lichtensteig Switzerland, market town with oriental style doors. The building in the middle had the town council in the upper story, downstairs the goods were weighed. |
Lichtensteig also had a mint, where the different currencies of the interregional traders were melted and the building on the left was a goldsmith shop. The first banks were the goldsmiths who rented out spare space in the safes where they stored their gold supplies to merchants for them to store their coins. The sign next to the door says the town hall was built in 1492, but it is older. In one room that wasn't renovated in the 1960s as the rest of the building, there is a druze foot, a sign of resistance, resistance to the spirit of controle and intruders who might cause harm.
HISTORY OF ECONOMIC CULTURE
Creating wealth and wellbeing with productive, bonded economy
The certain people separated belief and ritual. On the marriage and death certificates it stated: according to Catholic ritual. Jews and of Muslim heritage prayed to different Gods. My greatgrandfather said, when his wife was laying dying that she was praying to her god and not to his. When I first read it, I didn't know which one was hers. I thought alot about why at the demonstrations in Gaza, men were sitting on another man's shoulders. From what I heard family members saying when I was little, I believe it's the god of:
"IN GOD WE TRUST"
And that explains why this is on US money, because Americans want a system of economics as creating wealth against extracting wealth, of seeing a piece of land as more than just its price, of using and replenishing resources, bonded economics. The phrase was first put on coins in a time when predatory economic behavior took hold during early capitalism. This term is actually a paradox, because it is the capital, the resources not only saved as in a savings box, but built like well managed soil to increase in the sense of:
"The whole is more than the sum of its parts."
Aristotle (384-322 BCE)
This type of economics was implemented by the former governments under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu allowing Israel now to fight a war without implementing wartime economics, which are the non-binded type that give rise to satanism from badly managed debt and totalitärian economics which produce superfluous people, as the German-Jewish philosopher Hannah Arendt (1906-1975) explained from the political aspect of totalitarianism and Holocaust. When efficient economic production of goods and services declines in an economic system, unproductive processes of bureaucracy grow, inefficiency is compensated with debt that doesn´t grow the economy, wealth extraction and extortian can take hold, if the legal system, rule of law isn´t implemented. In El Salvador, for example, satanical gangs practicing rituals of death cult took hold, murdering for extortion. When it is the aim to take wealth produced and saved by others and not relying on a surplus portion of revenues from a productive economy, as for example is the case when politicians without education and understanding of economics hand out the treasury to their voters, set objectives for taxing not from earnings, set environments, where entreprises and trade can´t flourish, sooner or later, first the unproductive areas of an economy increase, such as bureaucracy, building for the sake of building and inefficient companies adding on debt as costs override revenue.
People from this heritage built on trust and openness that is good for creativity, innovation and common good need to be protected, because they can´t see harm coming, have difficulties recognizing others who seek them out in order to harm them, especially if those perpetrators are manipulative. This is also a trait of people with autistic tendencies, especially women autists. They are often not diagnosed and have a high rate of becoming victims of psychological trauma, rape and domestic violence. Therefore I am thankful to the Muslim communities in Switzerland that they put in place centers of aid. In order to ward off Antisemitism in the personal place, it is necessary to have good social contacts, if you need medical treatment, know which doctor can be trusted, especially gynecologists, and what you post about yourself on the internet and social media. Companies should implement measures at the work place.
Jesus - Second last prophet of Islam
The importance of bonding
Jesus was a very bonded child. In churches you see him as a baby with Virgin Mary. In Christmas scenes Baby Jesus is in a manger by himself, with Mary and Joseph and other people standing behind him. This also means he is very bonded, because he feels sure and happy in his manger, because he is secure. That is why bonding is so important in the first days after birth. The bondage between Mother and Child is very important for life. I used to watch this when my sheep lambed in Spring. I kept the ewes together with their newly born lambs in a different compartment of the barn for three to five days together. You can watch how the bonding goes back and forth between mother and lamb. Lambs and other animals get on their feet pretty quickly. Human babies take a long time to be able to walk. They are born prematurely because if they stayed in the womb for longer, their big head could no longer pass through for birth. Therefore bonding, the connection to the mother is very important, because it gives us the security for the rest of our lives.
As for the virgin birth of Jesus, I thought that since there are animals with parthenogenesis, with some even switching between sexual reproduction and parthenogenesis, such as certain lizards living in a desert environment. If there happens to be a male lizard around, the female will have sex with him. If the next possible mate is kilometers away, the female lizard will conceive by parthongenesis. Why shouldn´t nature find ways that this can also happen to humans.
Parthenogenesis in humans
I found a scientific paper by researchers from Egypt and Jordan that reviewed scientific research of parthenogenesis in humans. The publications they viewed were all from reproductive medicine. In parthogenesis a body cell of the woman serves as a substitute for the sperm. This means that if there is an offspring, it only has the genetics of the mother, but is not identical to her, such as it is with clones. In these studies from reproductive medicine, there are two ways that parthenogenesis in humans can happen. They differ as to which cells of the mother serve as a substitute of the sperm in sexual reproduction and how these body cells of the mother are included into the female egg-cell. Both forms only happen in infertile women and ovulation and inclusion of body cells are induced by the body of the woman. All mechanisms are not completely understood.
In the first case, a tumor is the result that has no chance of becoming a living foetus. This type of tumor is fairly often seen and up to the study by the reproductive medicine researchers it's cause hadn't been known. In the second case a child can be born, but it has to be a girl, because the substitute for the sperm is a body cell of the mother and as women have two X-Chromosomes, it would have to be a baby girl born from parthogenesis to an infertile woman. In contrast to the first way that results in a tumor, other cells substitute the sperm and as stated in the study, there was always a man around. This would mean, as in sheep that ovulation goes via the brain. Sheep cannot be artificially inseminated, because they don´t ovulate spontanous or induced, such as rabbits, so no hormone can be injected in order to simulate the hormones necessary for stipulating the hormones for ovulation. Inducing the hormone for stipulating ovulation via the brain means there has to some kind of feeling, something like love between the mates for the ewe to ovulate. The authors of the study conclude that there may be more widespread parthenogenesis with humans than commonly thought of. As it is only with infertile women, it could have happened more often in biblical times, due to another environmental and societal environment, compared to today.
Immaculate conception of Jesus from the perspective of parthenogenesis
Maybe Virgin Mary was infertile and desperately wanted a child. Maybe she had even been married and sent away by her husband, because she had been barren and couldn't give birth to an heir. She could have prayed to god in a really strong way and thus become pregnant by parthenogenesis. If so, she would have been a woman with XY Chromosomes which is something that happens fairly often, such as recently was an issue with a woman boxer. If partenogenesis happened, people in biblical times would have known, because in order to invent and manage agriculture this type of knowledge on biological issues and how nature functions was most important, since there were no laboratories, microscopes and such and so indigenous farmers relied on passed on knowledge and experience and more elaborate observation of nature, the weather, soils and such. What would have been special about the birth of Jesus was that he was a boy. So from the indigenous perspective Jesus could have been considered to be something special and a forthcoming holy person because he was a boy born from parthenogenesis. Both the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:31) and Joseph are informed by angels that Virgin Mary will have a child without sexual intercourse by angels. This is the indigenous perspective of spiritual beings as being the connection between humans and nature.
If born from parthenogenesis from a infertile woman with XY Chromosomes and therefore considered by indigenous oral history to be someone very holy, then maybe the birth in the stable of Bethlehem was thought of by those who wrote down the Bible 50 to 150 years later, to be a more humble less pagan version for storytelling. There is no census in roman records during the time of Jesus birth.
Significant others for bonding and more than only parents for bonding
Since there are other people in the Christmas scenes than Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus, such as the shepards, Jesus probably had more significant others than just his parents when growing up, which would have given him more security as a child and later as a grown up. The certain people of my family heritage also often had more than one father and more than one mother.
They had many children and often for profane reasons such as one family could not support so many and anther family had none, they would give children to other relatives. Or if for example the parents weren't married, didn't want to get married or a single mother had a child then it would be raised in another family. And most often, if the first wife of a man died and he married again and the second wife wanted her children to be the heirs, the children of the first wife were given to other kinship. Such foster parents were obliged to give these children from the first wife a vocational education and they inherited the right to the company capital, so with the vocal education and the company capital they could start a business of their own or buy an excisting one in order to support themselves.
Culture of western Muslim heritage
The obligation for providing education was the same for boys and girls. One of my greatgrandmothers was a child from a first marriage and a cook with vocational training. My grandmother had another grandmother who was her biological one. I only had my original parents, but I had a second father, who was actually a woman, my mother's sister and a second mother which was my grandmother who took care of me as a small child. She was the one I was closely bonded to whereas my mother was more like a person who set the environment and rules of life. My grandmother was a lot like me and my mother was like someone to talk to and get advice from which however she usually didn't give, but said:
"You have to decide and do what you want."
I would then say, that I didn't know and otherwise I wouldn't have asked. Then she would say:
"You know what you want."
My father was also alot like myself, but he was always at work. My aunt organized things for me and she protected me, watched over me, alot like a father. She never married, had no children of her own and worked as a civil servant with the German postal service. She took me in the place of an own child, also because when she started her training and career, after the Second World War, German postal service still had rules from Nazi times that if a woman civil servant were to marry, she would be laid off.
Mohammed and Ishmael, the position of women in Islam
Mohammed lost his parents in a progrom. He was from a tribe that was always used for riddance of debt in this way, as the Jewish settlement area of Pale in the Russian Empire. Usually it's family members that participate or even initiate. He had a wealthy man who financed his studies in the Library of Alexandria which was the center of philosophy of the Greek and Roman Empire and had become Arabic after the fall of the Roman Empire. That's where he got the idea of starting a new religion that would do away with progroms. His Islam was not only a religion, but also political and economic. That's why German socialdemocrats in the 19th century, including Karl Marx (1818-1883) studied what they called the Arabic mohammedian-culture.
Mohammed, who had lost both parents to something terrible and took Ismael as his ancestor, who first was an only child and then sent away by his father to live with his single mother. Isn´t it interesting that the biblical story of Abraham and his family included an extra ancestor for a religion to come when it was written down? Ismael was the first son of Abraham. Then Abraham's wife Sara had Isaac and Ismael and his mother had to leave and go into the desert. I heard that some feminists say, maybe Hagar, Ismael's mother left on her own. Anyhow that is also a point that I realized first, when I saw the family documents. When I first read what I could read, before everything got changed in the most horrible way to the opposit antisemitic, in this case the Fake-Nazi-Jewish version, was about successful business women accepted in society, single mothers in 19th century Munich.
I know several very highly educated working women here also with Muslim migrant background. And in Syria a woman was selected as president of the national bank, which one can imagine is not the easist job available in New Syria. So why do we always hear about women being oppressed such as they can't go to school? Is it not possible to explain for example to the Taliban that they should do some theology, or do they have the wrong copy of the Quran? Someone once gave me a childrens bible, before I started reading the real one that was just horrible, all about people killing each other, so that I threw it away.
The capital of the family company system
The children from the first marriage get the company capital, because the children of the second wife inherit the company and usually grow up to get the education and vocational training, work there before they become the owner. However, as happened with the half-brother of my greatgrandfather, sometimes there are company heirs, maybe the ones called professional sons, who don´t have the talent and will to educate themselves to become good managers, prefere to drink and lead a life of leisure, don't manage the company well, so it goes broke. My greatgrandfather, son of the first wife could then take over the failed company without the debt. Whoever passed on the debt to the unsuccessful manager, had to forget it, because it would have been their duty to anticipate and calculate, how the entrepreneur was supposed to pay back his debt.
My greatgrandfather first gave back the company to his half-brother as a tennant. But that didn't work out either, so he finally sold the company. It was a tannery. If the company owner born of the first wife was a successful businessman, he could save new capital. Depending on the type of business, this new capital could also grow quickly. But most of the company capital of the old family companies was saved over many generations and with the help of others who did their business using it instead of taking up debt and paying interest, they put what they would have to pay interest for, if it had been debt into the capital. the capital is a ressource, that can help also, if there are bad times and with investments. At the industrial company that I worked at, the workers were told:
"You have to earn the money with which to buy the new machine first before you buy it."
All the workers understood this, in fact, they often told me without me asking. It seemed to be a motive for them to do their work well. Debt is also a necessary element of an economic system, for example for creating money and leverage, money that can be spent, liquidity, but that is another topic.
